HP Blogfest! And how do you say HYPERVENTILATING in French?

So, yeah. Awesome.

And now my Harry Potter Blogfest entry. We had to choose which two characters would be our best mates at Hogwarts. Great question! Check out the other entries here. As for me...

I'm going with my 16-17 year old self here, so I would be the bespectacled, boy-crazy, pre-makeover'd Mia Thermopolis, third wheel mate of Percy Weasley and Penelope Clearwater. 'He's so dreeeeeamy,' the third divider in my five subject notebook reads. Penny's my BFF, for sure, but I'm secretly super jealous of her. There may even be a dog-eared book of un-love spells in the restricted section with my fingerprints all over it. Yes, I'm in love with Percy. That strong chin, big hands, commanding presence. But I've known him forever. He thinks of me as a sister.

A love triangle that only one of us can see. Sigh...

Ahh, high school. :) Hope you enjoyed!

Oh, yeah! Crits for Water starts soon. You NEED to check this out!

This made me smile! I love the Weasleys and was so happy when Percy came good in the end. Like the sound of your character.

*giggles* Oh, I hear you. I had all sorts of friends with boyfriends and I wanted one so bad... I'm glad it didn't work out that you won Percy, though I have to think if you had, you might have steered him better through that whole Umbridge fiasco...

Ah! The love triangle. Sad but so predictable. Usually only 1 person gets hurt.
Thanks for sharing!

Now those are two friends I haven't seen yet. I love the un-love spells. I think it kicks in after 29 years of marriage and all the things you thought were fun have now become irritating. (sigh). Maybe I need 'love potion #9?' LOL

Just kidding.

Hi, Marie,

Now these are two people I haven't come across yet. Percy a hunk? Hmmm. Not sure about that, but I guess he had his charms.

I like the fact the other two are oblivious to your obsession. Loved the part about the un-love spells.

Thanks so much for joining in on the fun.

I enjoyed your glimpse back into the mind of a 16 yr old, so uncertain about the opposite sex. Wonderful post!

You are the first to pick Percy, and although he disappointed me after he graduated, since he came back to fight alongside his family in the end, I forgave him. Interesting choices!

Awe! How fun! I didn't even think of those two! Great choices!!
